On 20 Apr, 2008 the art work titled "The King of Rulai Series 12 / Activate the Innate Nature to Meet Buddha" by Professor Lee Sun-Don closed deal at the price of 5.75 million Hong Kong Dollars(USD 738,000) in the Spring Auction held in Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong by Art Number One Auction , making the highest sales record among Taiwanese contemporary artworks.

Moreover, Professor Lee initiated and launched a charitable fundraiser by contributing his art work titled "Woman - The Sunshine of the World" to the auction and donated all the 1.77 million Hong Kong Dollars raised from the sales of this work to "Chinese Art Dream Project" Foundation established by Art Number One Auction . The foundation will be engaged in various projects in supporting the deprived children who have the talent and interest in art but lack the financial ability to pursue their dreams.
