Installation Art —— "Bombing the Earth" Has been Selected as a Finalist of the "5th International Prize Arte Laguna"

Deeply impressing the Venice Biennale with his Totemic Energy Oil Paintings, Professor Lee Sun-Don has been selected in 2011 as a finalist of the "5th International Prize Arte Laguna" for his installation art "Bombing the Earth". Competing in Venice again, Professor Lee is the only Asian artist whose artwork "Bombing the Earth" was selected to be on display in the sculpture section.

This year's International Prize Art Laguna is organized jointly by MoCA(Italian Cultural Association MoCA – Modern Contemporary Art), the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, and the office of International Prize Art Laguna. Being a very important international art competition, International Prize Arte Laguna is sponsored by the Italian government, Province of Venice, and the academic institutions. The selected artworks will be on display in Nappe Area of Arsenale of Venice, the most importance exhibition location in Venice, and also the main exhibition site of Venice Biennale, indicating the importance of this venue.
