The contemporary artist Professor Lee Sun-Don, whose works have been invited to exhibit in "Beijing • Olympic Fine Arts 2008" and "Florence Biennale 2009", has also been invited to have a solo exhibition in The Museum of Kyoto, Japan in September, under the title "Taiwan Wind -- Lee Sun-Don Totemic Energy Oil Painting".

Taiwan is where Professor Lee's art creation was originated and for this reason, Professor Lee specially precedes his exhibition in Kyoto, Japan with this prelude exhibition. The sixty works in exhibit are from The King of Rulai series, Secular World series, and Colors in Colors series. "The King of Rulai" series conveys the main

subject that the compassion from Buddha and Bodhisattvas to all beings does not change with time. Debuted in this exhibition is the new series "Colors in Colors" created with a special technique pioneered by Professor Lee. "Secular World" depicts various life situations in a tone of humor and wisdom, inspiring self-reflection on life from the audience, beyond the smiles at their lips.

It is worth mentioning that the King of Rulai series once made the highest sales record among today's contemporary artists in Taiwan in the Hong Kong spring auction by Art #1 Auction House (deal closed at HKD 5.75 million, in approximately NTD 23 million.) Six pieces of the King of Rulai series are to be exhibited, being the most complete display of this particular series in an exhibition.

"Taiwan Wind – Professor Lee Sun-Don Totemic Energy Oil Painting" - the first of a scheduled tour exhibition in France, UK, US, Italy, Japan and China, worth your visiting for a personal appreciation!
