Congratulations!
Professor Lee Sun-Don was Selected into the ROI 125th Annual Exhibition, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI) in UK
First artist in Asia ever invited to have an individual oil painting exhibition accommodated in an exclusive venue in Venice Biennale, Professor Lee Sun-Don, won another international art honor – being selected into the ROI 125th Annual Exhibition, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI) in the United Kingdom.
Founded in 1882 in London, the Royal Institute of Oil Painting (ROI) was granted the royal status by King Edward VII in 1909, showing its important position in the field of oil painting. Of 130 years history, ROI's annual exhibition is open to the general submission, and artists who have shown sufficient merit are initially elected as associates for up to five years, during which time they may be elected to full membership by existing members. However, its membership has always been restricted to about 65 members due to strict selection criteria.
Professor Lee Sun-Don's two selected entries are “Vision / Golden Woods ‧ Bound-free Journey” and “Vision / The Home of Prosperity beyond the World”.
