Lee Sun-Don, the Pioneer of Totemic Oil Painting as an Innovative Art Genre Lee Sun-Don, the pioneer of Totemic Oil Painting, has realized the lifetime dream of a painter in a year. Chang Liu Gallery organized a solo exhibition for him in November, 2006, which was the first exhibition ever in his life. Up to the present, he has acquired the major art awards of international recognition; he has been invited to be the member artist of SAA Art Association in UK; he has been invited to exhibit in world renowned fine arts museums in Europe, the United States, and China. The totems in the Diamond Sutra Series are very startling; the Heart Sutra Series are all in white, with white canvas, and white pigments. The most recent series of the Secular World Series is very contemporary in style.
