The Chinese Artist Obtains High Acclaim in Italy
Professor Lee Sun-Don Won the Honor from "The 5th Cesi Palace Exhibition, Green Lion: The Creative Spirit Itself, Italy", Becoming the First Artist Ever from Asia to Win This Honor Having received numerous honors from many juried international art exhibitions, Professor Lee Sun-Don, a contemporary artist from Taiwan, was selected to exhibit in the 5th Cesi Palace Exhibition, Green Lion: The Creative Spirit Itself, Italy with four pieces of his artworks: "To Transform Beyond", "Within Each Heart Grows a Flower of Benevolence", "Grand Qi of the Universe • Energy and Exertion of the Mind", "Guan Zi Zai Series / Form Does Not Differ from Emptiness; Emptiness Does Not Differ from Form. Whatever Is Form Is Emptiness; Whatever Is Emptiness Is Form". Out of 200 most prominent artists in the world, only twenty received the privilege to exhibit after strict selection process. Professor Lee Sun-Don became the first artist ever from Asia to win this honor! "The 5th Cesi Palace Exhibition, Green Lion: The Creative Spirit Itself, Italy" was curated by Camaver Kunsthaus International, an international art group enjoying high authority. The "Green Lion" – jointly organized by both Camaver Kunsthaus International and the City of Acquasparta, has been one of the most important international exhibitions of Italy. This exhibition has attracted participation from world top artists while Professor Lee has become the first artist ever from Asia to be selected into the exhibition. This indicates that the Chinese oil paintings have reached the top standard of the world, allowing the Chinese artists beaming in the world with their artistic achievements. Professor Lee's works were displayed among works by other world prominent artists from May 23 till June 24 in the ancient Cesi Palace in Italy, a venue full of the atmosphere of Classicism and Renaissance. Italy is the origin of Renaissance, as well as the highest palace of art in the western painting. The exhibition site is within the historical Cesi Palace built in 1579, where once housed the Accademia dei Lincei in which Galileo had ever taken a teaching position, and De Vinci had once settled for several years. As of today, Cesi Palace has been turned into a museum, exhibiting diversified cultural and historical relics. Professor Lee's artworks being selected to exhibit in such an exhibition place is extremely phenomenal for Asia. |
