A Brief Introduction of Gallery Gabrichidze:
Gallery Gabrichidze has been listed as the "Top Ten Tourist attractions in Brussels" in 2007, among other famous world heritage sites- Grand-Place, Brussels, Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, etc.

Gallery Gabrichidze is located at the heart of "European capital"- Brussels, where European Union is headquartered. Among the three major organizations of EU, two are based in Brussels (European Commission, Council of the European Union) while the third organization European Parliament also sets the branch office in Brussels. In this sense, Brussels is not different from the Capital of Europe. This is also the city where NATO is headquartered. Marx, Hugo, Byron, Mozart have once lived in the city.

Nick Gabrichidze, founder of Gallery Gabrichidze, is an artist engaging in politics and a writer. He led a group of politically and socially charged artists and designers to form Gallery Gabrichidze.

The gallery is operated to increase public awareness about important civic issues, to build bridges between art and politics, to use the creative energy of human mind as an instrument in political decision-making process. The Gallery is constantly displaying art works addressing to current issues, such as the attitude toward death penalty and inviting politicians to events such as the Gallery's openings, workshops, and discussions, etc.

Besides political issues, Gallery Gabrichidze is also devoted into organizing the annual art exhibition, and inviting the outstanding contemporary artists from all over the world to join the exhibition. The Gallery has good connections in the political and economic fields (for instance, members of EU, diplomats, chamber of commerce). The works in display are inevitably to be reviewed by the politicians of high rank and industrialists. The Gallery, with the support of the Foundation, sets schedules for various activities, such as current issue seminars, discussions, auctions, breakfast meetings, board game nights, talent shows, poetry evenings, lectures, etc.

The Gallery also collaborates with Artenade, which is an art group founded since July, 2006 with offices in Germany, UK, and Iceland, dedicating to assisting artists in bringing their works to a larger audience as well as assisting those who are less fortunate amongst us. A percentage of the proceeds from every artwork sold will go to the Red Cross and the other NGO's to help and benefit artists based in the third world and their community. Artenade jointly organized with the Dutch Red Cross an art charity event - The Hague Red Cross Summer Exhibition in 2008. The first place winner is entitled to a solo exhibition in Gallery Gabrichidze in 2009!
