Among the world's five most renowned art expo, Art Basel is

held in two different locations: Switzerland in spring and Miami in winter. During the exhibition period of any of these five major art expo, many satellite exhibitions are to take place concurrently.

Both Art Asia Miami and SCOPE are taking place concurrently within a walking distance of Art Basel Miami, along with several other art shows. SCOPE, other than Art Basel Miami, is the most influential exhibition in Miami area, and has become a big favorite of audience and art professionals. According to the website of SCOPE, last year in the five days' exhibition, SCOPE and Art Asia, the sister art group of SCOPE, collaborated to attract over 30,000 attendees, and created a sales volume exceeding that of Art Basel Miami. This huge success of last year's exhibition could forecast the competitive importance of these two exhibitions.

This year, Art Asia Miami's main theme is "Truly Truthful" seeking out artworks, from

documentary, theatre, oil painting, installation art and video art that could represent the truth and reality of the world. In this year's Art Asia Miami, Lee Sun-Don will present his latest creation of unprecedented cutting-edge media: Titanium Alloy Series.

The artist composes paintings on his proprietary designed titanium alloy and 800# mirror finish stainless steel. With the mirror-like reflection of the metallic surface, the artwork itself changes with the surrounding and viewers, presenting different images. The spirit of his new creations in this latest series is: All things have spirit -- Art, has life of its own.
