| Organized since 1979, Art Chicago (CIAE) is one of the world top five art expos, being the oldest international fair of contemporary and modern art in the U.S. Known for its high standard in quality and style, Art Chicago is regarded the most representative among all international art exhibitions. Art Chicago invitational exhibition showcases primarily the foremost avant-garde contemporary artworks of finest quality, bringing together the world's leading galleries every year for a grand gathering. Art Chicago invitational exhibition has a very strict selection process, making the application for acceptance into the exhibition extremely difficult to most galleries and artists in general. Art Chicago "NEXT" is also an invitational exhibition organized especially for galleries emerging within the past five years. Each of the two exhibitions is curated by a committee independent from each other.
