Exhibits in Venice Biennale - "Soaring" Attains Art Honor Again

Within the past three years, the Taiwanese artist Lee Sun-Don has obtained recognition with his Totemic Energy Oil Paintings and photography works from more than 120 international competitions. In the beginning of year 2011, his sculpture "Soaring" was selected into the Annual Exhibition of the Royal Society of British Artists.

The Royal Society of British Artists, referred to as the RBA, was founded in 1823, and in 1887 was granted by the British Queen Victoria the title of "Royal". RBA strictly control the number of members. If an artist wants to become a member, a prerequisite is that this artist's works have to be selected into the annual exhibition several times in order to for the artist to be qualified as an applicant of membership. The impressionist master Monet was an honorary member acquiring much attention.

Professor Lee Sun-Don's sculpture — "Soaring" was originally an exhibit in the 2009 Venice Biennale, which obtained since then the high acclaims and interest from art critics and art lovers all over the world. This artwork's being selected into the world topmost competition - 2011 annual exhibition of the Royal Society of British Artists indicates the international recognition of Professor Lee's work of sculpture, in addition to that of his Totemic Energy Oil Paintings and photographic works.
