GP DEVA, Invited to Participate ICCIE 2014, Leading the Cultural and Creative Arts in Taiwan, Manifesting a New Trend in Arts-Licensed Boutiques Time: December 11~ 14, 2014 Venue: China Exhibition Center GP DEVA, a global boutique group specialized in the design of contemporary arts, is invited by the China Beijing International Cultural and Creative Industry Expo (ICCIE), credited as the top 2 cultural expo across the Strait. Bridging Oriental Cultures with Western Ones to Forge a Globally-Renowned Chinese Brand GP DEVA has been practicing the integration of contemporary arts into Taiwan’s craftsmanship, to manifest the top craftsmanship by fusing with Chinese cultures and arts, so that achievements from Taiwan’s cultural and creative industry can be seen at the international arena. DiMora Vicci 6.2 EmperorⅠ, the Neo-classic art supercar launched this April, has elevated the culture & creativity and crossover collaboration to a new realm. This extremely luxury Neo-classic art supercar was born from the cooperation between Taiwan’s artist Lee Sun-Don and the top luxury car maker, DiMora Motorcar, which causes a sensation and makes a splash. Integrating Artistic Life Philosophy Leading the Oriental Fashion Aesthetics Upon the establishment of GP DEVA, the master of contemporary arts Prof. Lee Sun-Don has been invited to act as the Art Director; creatively based on the “Totemic Energy Arts”, the aesthetic design for jewelry boutiques, modern furniture, art space and top skincare lines are thus created. In 2004, the GP DEVA group has established its flagship store at the Beverly Hills, a boutique and brand area, which has become the first and only Asian brand ever to reside at this luxury quarter, the other flagship stores are in USA, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Qingdao, and Taiwan. Embedded with the Best of Chinese Cultures Arts Licensing with Creative Arts From the efforts in nurturing artists actively, the GP DEVA Group represents and cooperates with more than 200 artists around the world. One of the most notable achievements was to sponsor Prof. Lee Sun-Don to exhibit at the La Biennale di Venezia, the so-called “Oscar Award in Arts”, to become the first Asian artist ever invited with his solo pavilion for oil paintings. Prof. Lee has been developing 148 series of paintings, photography, sculpture, and installations with his exclusive techniques. Invited by the Taipei Culture Foundation, GP DEVA presents hand-crafted furniture, hand-carved plates, Chinese tea giftset, scarves, jewelry and other creative products, with all designs based on arts licensing. Shipped from Taipei to Beijing with meticulous arrangements, the totemic art furniture are hand-made based on paintings licensed from Prof. Lee Sun-Don’s “All-Around and Well-Resourceful” and “With You, With True Love” in the “Take a Seat” series. Being made from the top rose wood, the skilled carpenter has applied the traditional craftsmanship of mortise-and-tenon joints without a single nail, and coated the furniture with natural raw lacquer, to manifest the Chinese mentality of complying with the nature laws and cherishing our planet.

GP DEVA also presents for the first time the “Happy Life” Chinese tea giftset, featuring the limited premier Wulong tea from Taiwan, and the represented artist trio from X-Power Gallery, Ma Sing Ling’s paintings: “the Sun of the Lord/Clear Air, Autumn Sun” and “Spring Breeze/Getting Together with a Bosom Friend”. Grown in the Alisan area , the Wulong tea benefits from the cool climate with huge temperature differences between days and nights; being rolled and baked by well-skilled tea makers, the tea emitting a flora scent is presented for tea lovers to taste the great flavor, and to experience the life arts in five senses.
Study under Prof. Lee Sun-Don, the most eye-catching artist trio Ma Sing Ling consists of MANIHOO, Singway and Ling Ling, their artworks are tranquil yet grandeur to fully reveal the stunning momentum, with their usual characteristic of bringing out the magnificence of unpredictable dynamics of the free flow of paints; the manifested rhythm and spectacularity in the Nature is reputed by major collectors as “amazing as Chang Dai-chien’s splash-ink paintings”. There are 8 framed scarves of silk and wool featuring Ma Sing Ling’s licensed paintings for a special creative representation. This June, Ma Sing Ling was invited by the Yinger Fashion Group to hold an exhibition titled “Poetry of Elegance” at the Yinger Gallery in Shenzhen. Their artworks are endowed with the oriental morbidezza and exquisiteness, demonstrating the modern women’s style of their own. Director of Yinger Fashion Group likes their daring color patterns and lines with great creativity and collects some of their works.
