The well-known car brand DiMora specially exhibited the limited edition "DiMora Vicci 6.2 Emperor", which combines fashion and art by bringing together the creativity of American automobile designer Alfred J. DiMora and the also influential Taiwanese artist Professor Lee Sun-Don, allowing the "DiMora Vicci 6.2 Emperor" displayed at the entrance of the Palm Springs Convention Center to steal the show! The Catwoman of the first generation ── the famous American actress Julie Newmar also came to the scene with her son. In a career as an actress, she is best known for the role of Catwoman in the TV series Batman (1966). The Artistic Supercar and the Original Paintings Are Both in Exhibit; Visitors See Both at the Same Time. On February 11, the day the VIP night of the Palm Springs Fine Art Fair was to take place, "DiMora Vicci 6.2 Emperor” arrived at the hall of the Palm Springs Convention Center. Endowed with dramatic and artistic colors and lines, both contemporary and classical, pure art and design, the two sports car and an original painting "Great Treasure Gate 2014 / Development Unbound" were displayed just in between the exhibition halls of Modernism Week and Fine Art Fair. Visitors passing by could not help but approach the exhibits for a good appreciation. “I love cars and I love art, so I set out to collaborate with world renowned artists to create the first true limited-edition production rolling art. The Annual Palm Springs Modernism Show is a magnificent event and we look forward to bringing two of our Vicci 6.2's and one of the original work of art by Professor Lee Sun-Don to the show,” said Alfred J. DiMora, President of DiMora Car Manufacturer, the pushing hands behind the scenes. Its classical style makes many people curious whether "DiMora Vicci 6.2 Emperor" is a rebuilt retro car. To their surprise this 430 horsepower artistic supercar is a local build of Palms Springs! And in order to perfect works of art presented on cars, every limited edition Vicci 6.2 takes the professional craftsman at least 750 hours to complete the production, from the paintings of color, gloss of the original work to the hood and side panels, to the final hand laying of 24K gold, and every detail of the process was carefully supervised by Alfred J. DiMora, not to mention the body itself which then took him years to design and conceive. “Modernism Week has made a name for itself when it comes to offering unique and desirable artwork,” said Rosemary Krieger, President and Owner, Dolphin Promotions. “We are thrilled to give visitors to this year’s event a glimpse at not only the brilliantly designed DiMora Vicci 6.2, but also one of the original pieces of artwork from the limited edition series.” The Totemic Energy Painting "Great Treasure Gate 2014 / Development Unbound" received many on-site inquiries. Of the paintings "Great Treasure Gate 2014 / Development Unbound," the most important soul is the antique door knocker on the painting ── coming down from the Ming Dynasty to modern times. The artist Professor Lee Sun-Don, when visiting Beijing in 1989, found in Beijing these abandoned century technology, and began to collect these antiques. After many years these antiques has become an inspiration of the "Great Treasure Gate" series. Professor Lee once said while introducing his paintings: "Chinese antique door knocker has always been a symbol of wealth and power." Coincided with the kingly atmosphere of "DiMora Vicci 6.2 Emperor". Elected to exhibit in "the 59th Venice Biennale" in 2009, Professor Lee has become the first ever in Asia for centuries to have an exhibition in a "Personal Painting Pavilion"! Taiwanese artist Professor Lee Sun-Don is internationally known for his original “Totemic Energy Art”, having won 44 international art competition awards, 105 international photography contest awards and many other dazzling successes. This is also one of the reasons for his receiving the invite from the United States luxury car brand DiMora. “We have been very selective with every aspect of building the DiMora Vicci 6.2, so when it came time to choose the first artist series collaboration, not just any artist would do,” shared DiMora. Master Lee Sun-Don’s popularity worldwide continues to make him a highly sought-after artist. His artwork is currently showing in galleries around the world, including Beverly Hills, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taipei, to name but a few. Each collector of "DiMora Vicci 6.2 Emperor", will also get an authentic painting, allowing collectors to drive the art and to enjoy the art. The artist Professor Lee Sun-Don and the designer and CEO Alfred J. DiMora takes photo together. Constantly working on innovation of mediums and establishment of spiritual nature that the art conveys, Professor Lee Sun-Don continues to increase his artistic footprint.
