Curator of Art, York Museums Trust, York Art Gallery (created in 1879, York Art Gallery combines a distinguished history of displaying fine paintings and ceramics.) York Museums Trust is an independent charitable trust which manages four old-line art institutes, York Castle Museum, Yorkshire Museum and Gardens, York Art Gallery and York St Mary's.

For the past decade, Caroline has focused her curatorial practice on a diverse combination of both historic and contemporary art exhibitions. She is also busy commissioning new and emerging contemporary art for York St. Mary’s, another gallery managed by York Museums Trust.

She has been a visiting lecturer at Newcastle, Sunderland, Leeds and York Universities and is a regular contributing author to Museums Journal, UK. She is also co-founder of the Contemporary Art Society - Yorkshire.

In general, Santa Fe Art World usually observes the artists for a period of at least three months, or even up to a year, before extending them the invitation to be a member artist of the association.
